Use of artificial intelligence
How AI works inside Niceplace and the commitments we make to you and your students.
This is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
01 What we use AI for
We use AI so that creating, teaching and running your business takes you less time. In general, to:
- Answer your students with your course content, through the guide.
- Help you create pages, copy and designs for your site.
- Analyze your information when you ask, such as your sales, your students or their questions.
- Process your files to transcribe them, understand them and search inside them.
- Look after communities, flagging posts that may break the rules.
Specific features change as we improve the product. This document applies to all of them.
02 AI providers
AI models are provided by specialized external providers, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and AssemblyAI. We pick the most suitable one for each task, so not all of them receive data at the same time. The types of providers we use are in Providers that process data.
03 Your data and training
- We don't use your content or your students' content to train general-purpose AI models. Our providers can't use it to train theirs either: their contracts with us forbid it.
- We send the model only what each answer needs. For example, the guide receives the question and the course excerpts that answer it, not your whole campus.
- Providers may only keep the data for a limited time to prevent abuse, and then delete it.
- Conversations with the guide and the assistant are stored in Niceplace so they can be resumed. They are deleted with the account.
04 What the AI generates is yours
The texts, designs and images you generate from your instructions belong to you, to the extent the law allows rights over them. Niceplace claims no ownership. Keep in mind that someone else may get similar results with similar instructions.
05 You decide
The AI suggests and a person decides. The pages it generates stay as drafts until you publish them. When the business assistant wants to do something, such as creating a contact or a payment link, it shows you the action and waits for your approval.
Niceplace makes no automated decisions that produce legal or similar effects on a person. Automated moderation only hides a post so a person can review it.
06 Transparency with your students
The guide introduces itself as artificial intelligence in every conversation, so your students always know they are talking to an AI.
07 AI's limits
AI can be wrong, make up facts or reflect biases. Review what it generates before publishing it. The guide does not replace advice from a health, legal or financial professional, and reminds your students of this when relevant.
Some AI features have usage limits depending on your plan, which you will see in your dashboard.
08 Prohibited uses
The rules for using AI are in the Acceptable Use Policy: you are responsible for what you publish and you can't try to get around its limits.
