Terms of Service

The contract you accept when you create your creator account on Niceplace.

Last updated November 1, 2026 For creators

This is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.

01 Who we are and what this agreement covers

These terms are a contract between Niceplace («Niceplace», «we») and the person or organization that creates a creator account («you»).

Alongside this document, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, Plans, payments and refunds, Use of artificial intelligence and, when you manage your students' data, the Data Processing Agreement also apply. If any of them conflicts with these terms, the document more specific to its topic prevails.

If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can bind it, and «you» refers to that company.

02 Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into contracts to create a creator account.
  • You sign in with a one-time code we send to your email, or with your Google account. Protect access to that email: whoever controls it can get into your account.
  • You can invite other people as administrators. You are responsible for what they do in your space and for removing their access when they should no longer have it.
  • Keep your contact and billing details up to date. We will write to your account email about everything important.

03 What we offer you

Niceplace gives you the tools to build your site, sell and deliver courses, support your students with the guide, manage your contacts, get paid and run your communities. Features and limits depend on your plan, as described on the pricing page when you subscribe.

We improve the product all the time. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something essential from your plan, we tell you at least 30 days in advance and, if it harms you, you can cancel and we refund the unused part of the paid period.

Features marked BETA or Coming soon may change or fail more than the rest. We offer them so you can try them and tell us what you think.

04 Your content

Everything you upload or create on Niceplace is yours: courses, videos, texts, pages, posts, images and data. So is what you generate with the AI features from your own instructions.

To provide the service, you give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, copy, technically adapt and display your content as you configure it. This includes, for example, converting your videos so they play well on any device, transcribing them, indexing your lessons so the guide can answer with them and showing your site to visitors.

  • The license lasts while you have the account and ends when you delete the content or close the account, except for backups, which are deleted in their normal cycle.
  • We don't use your content or your students' content to train general-purpose AI models, and our AI providers can't use it to train theirs either.
  • We do not sell your content or use it to promote Niceplace without your permission.

You are responsible for holding the rights to what you publish. If someone believes you infringe their rights, we will follow the Report content process.

05 Your students and members

The people who buy your courses, enter your campus or join your communities are your customers. You set your prices, rules, support and refund policy for them, and you must tell them clearly who is selling and on what terms.

For your students' data, you are the controller and Niceplace is the processor. This is governed by the Data Processing Agreement, which is part of these terms. Your students also accept the Terms for students and members, which cover their use of the platform.

06 Payments and plans

You charge your students with your own Stripe, Mercado Pago or PayPal accounts, or by bank transfer. Niceplace takes no commission on those sales and is not a party to them. Details are in Charging your students.

What you pay Niceplace for your plan, the free trial, renewals and refunds are governed by Plans, payments and refunds.

07 Artificial intelligence

Some features use third-party AI models to generate pages, answer your students as the guide or analyze your data when you ask. Results can contain mistakes: review them before publishing or making decisions with them. The full rules are in Use of artificial intelligence.

08 Third-party services

You can connect services such as Google Drive, Vimeo, Zoom or Instagram. When you do, you also accept their terms and authorize us to exchange with them the data needed for the feature you turn on. We do not control those services, and they may change or cut off access without notice.

09 What belongs to Niceplace

The software, the platform design, the templates, the editor components and the Niceplace brand belong to us or our licensors. While you have the account you can use the templates and components on your site. The content you put in them remains yours.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Niceplace with no obligation to you.

10 Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time from the settings or by writing to us. Before closing it, download what you want to keep: your files from the Drive and your contacts from the CRM. What happens next is in Data deletion and account closure.

We may limit or suspend your account if there is a security risk, fraud, non-payment, a serious breach of these terms or an order from an authority. We will warn you first and give you the chance to fix it, unless warning you would increase the risk or the law forbids it.

11 Warranties and liability

We provide the service with professional care, but we cannot guarantee that it will run without interruptions or bring you specific business results. We publish the service status and announce major outages.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused it, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. These limits do not apply to willful misconduct, gross negligence or rights the law does not allow us to limit, including consumer rights.

12 Changes to these terms

If we change something important, we tell you by email and in your dashboard at least 30 days before it applies. If you disagree, you can cancel before that date without penalty. Minor changes, such as wording fixes, apply when published.

13 Disputes

Before starting any claim, write to us: almost everything gets solved that way. If we can't reach an agreement within 30 days, you can go to the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
